I, too, love lilacs. I wish they bloomed year-round, but I suppose without the anticipation of their arrival and the knowledge of their end, I wouldn't appreciate them nearly so much.
It's okay that they don't bloom year-round, but I do wish that they lasted a little longer and that more people in Princeton kept them in their yards. There seems to be a preference for dogwood and azaleas 'round these parts.
