One Down

One week of Greek done, seven more to go. I'm not going to say Greek is easy but I do find it rather simple. Simple meaning I don't feel like beating myself over the head with a heavy, metal object whenever we learn a new grammar rule, as I sometimes did while learning Hebrew. There are rules. The rules are consistent. It gets boring at times, but I didn't really expect Greek to be exciting.

For the first few days of class, I was waiting for Dr. Parsenios to throw a curve ball, something unexpected and strange. Around Wednesday, I finally realized that even if he throws something more difficult at us, it's still going to follow the rules because the Greeks loved logic.

Anyway, campus is quiet during the summer, not much to report.
